Create a Vorld

You can use many off-the-shelf 3D apps of your choice to create assets for your Vorld. As long as you can export your 3D Assets to .fbx (recommended) or .obj file format, the app you make them in does not matter. Some of the most popular apps include

  • Blender

  • Maya

  • Cinema 4D

  • 3D Studio Max and more

You can also use CAD applications like

  • Revit

  • Rhino

  • Sketchup

However, when you export these assets made in CAD apps to .fbx or .obj file formats, they tend to be very high in polycount and might require further optimisations and preparations before they can be submitted on Vorlds. In case you decide to finish your assets in Unity 3D for your final delivery, make sure the Lights, Terrain, Shaders & all dependency assets are packaged as a .prefab file. before uploading to Vorlds.
